I'm a DevOps Engineer with a background in Telecommunications Engineering, currently based in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Over the years, I've had the privilege of wearing multiple hats in the tech industry - from system and network administration to software development and data migration. My journey has led me to specialize in cloud-based technologies, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration.
With years of hands-on experience across various domains, my focus has increasingly shifted toward security - integrating it as a core aspect of everything I build and manage. I believe that robust, secure infrastructure is the foundation of any successful tech initiative.
I've been fortunate to work with diverse teams and technologies, which has enriched my skill set and broadened my perspective. I hold a few certifications, including LPIC-1 and Certified Kubernetes Administrator, that validate my technical skills. - During my studies at the Technical University of Sofia, I actively participated in the HAM RADIO club, where I deepened my knowledge in areas such as antennas, radio signals, and computer networking. - In my role at EADX, I was responsible for managing and optimizing the Kong API Gateway and orchestrating containerized applications using Kubernetes. I gained hands-on experience in infrastructure as code through Terraform and was actively involved in setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. My work also extended to managing Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), ensuring seamless deployment and scalability of applications. I had extensive experience with Google Cloud, focusing on cloud architecture, services, and deployment. Additionally, I worked on an enterprise CI/CD project in the banking sector, contributing to both CI and CD ends. I was also involved in an Azure infrastructure project focused on API integrations, which included deploying and using ArgoCD.
